Anybody else collect art?

My friend (and soon to be my new bassist) Henri Venne is an artist that mixes painting with photography. You can see some of his work there

And here's a pic from an expo that shows that your reflexion or the reflexion of what is in the room actually is part of the pieces.



He had an exposition at Montreal Museum of comtemporary art last year and they actually bought one of his pieces for there permanent collection.

Hope to buy one someday.

As for well known artist, my favourite is Diego Rivera. I don't think I'll ever own one especially since my favourite paintings of him are murals, but I hope I can eventually visit Mexico to see some of his muralwork

WWW.RUBBERSLUG.COM is a great free site to set up your own cel and animation art gallery, i've had one there for a couple years now. i love it since i suck with computers if it wasn't for rubberslug i'd never really get to show people my collection

I currently collect Anime cels, and I used to collect rock concert posters (which I still have).
